Privacy policy

Shape.host is operated by FutureForge Labs S.R.L., Romania. Questions about this page: contact@shape.host.

• No public account registration. Access to the administrative review area is restricted to authorized operators.
• No advertising tracking or session recording. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only after you accept analytics.
• No forms or newsletters.

• Server logs. Our web server records request information such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser type. We use these logs to operate, troubleshoot and secure the site. Website access and error logs rotate daily; seven rotated files are retained alongside the current log, normally covering about eight days.
• Email. If you write to contact@shape.host, we use your message only to reply to you.
• Benchmark evidence. Submissions contain server configuration, measurements and supporting diagnostics. They remain private until reviewed for publication. Public reports exclude private artifacts; do not include credentials or unnecessary personal information in a submission.

Browsing public pages does not require a login cookie. The protected admin area uses an essential session cookie for authorized operators, with an eight-hour expiry. If you select plans to compare in the benchmark directory, your browser remembers that selection (session storage, shapehost-compare-selection) until you close the tab. It stays in your browser.

Your analytics choice is stored in the essential shapehost_analytics_consent_v2 cookie for 180 days. If you accept, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured with a 180-day lifetime that may renew with use. It receives page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, and interaction events to help us understand site use. Do not put personal information in URLs. Google processes network information to provide this service; processing may occur outside your country.

Our basis for optional analytics is your consent. Rejecting analytics leaves it off and does not limit access to the site. Use the Cookie settings button to withdraw consent at any time; this removes accessible analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tracking scripts. Withdrawal does not undo processing that already occurred. The admin area does not include analytics.
