You can read Shape.host without an account and free of charge. By using the site, you agree to these terms. We may update them; the date above shows the current version.

• Do not try to access the administrative area, private submissions or other restricted parts of the site without authorization.
• Do not send automated traffic at a rate that degrades the site for other readers.
• Do not use the site, its reports or the benchmark agent to break the law or another service’s terms.

• One deployment, one window. Each report measures one deployment of one plan, in one region, during a stated test window. Another instance, region or time can produce different results.
• Not advice or a guarantee. Reports are not a provider ranking, a recommendation to buy a service or a guarantee of performance, availability or support. Check current specifications, prices and terms with the provider before you buy.
• Provided as is. We review evidence before publication and correct errors in a new revision when we find them. We do not warrant that every measurement is complete, accurate or current. Each report lists its own limitations; see also the methodology limitations.
• Names and trademarks. Provider names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the services tested. Testing a provider does not imply a relationship with it. Any commercial relationship or referral link must be disclosed next to the relevant content.

Tutorials are general technical information, provided as is. Many were written for the former hosting service or for software versions that have since changed. Test commands on a non-production system first, keep backups and check the current documentation for the software you use. You are responsible for changes you make to your own systems.

• Licence. The benchmark agent is open-source software under the MIT License included with its source code. That licence, not these terms, governs your use of the agent software.
• Authorized servers only. Run the agent only on servers you operate or are authorized to test, within your provider’s acceptable-use terms. Benchmarks put sustained load on a server and may incur provider charges.
• Submissions. Submitting results does not publish them. When you submit evidence, you confirm that you are entitled to share it, and you allow us to review it and to publish the approved report and its derived measurements. Do not include credentials or unnecessary personal information; the privacy policy explains how submissions are handled.

The Shape.host cloud and VPS hosting service closed on 1 May 2026 (see the closure notice). This website does not sell hosting, provision servers or accept orders or payments. Plans, trials, credit offers, partner programmes and other promotions published on the former website are no longer available.

These terms cover this website only. They do not replace the agreements that applied to former hosting accounts. For a question about a former account, email contact@shape.host.

Text, reports, charts and design on this site belong to FutureForge Labs S.R.L. unless marked otherwise. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts or individual results with attribution and a link to the source page. Ask us before republishing complete reports, tutorials or datasets.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this site, its benchmark data, its tutorials or the benchmark agent, including decisions to buy, cancel or migrate services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
